Oops

May 13, 2011

I just accidentally published the app instructions!!!!

I have really neglected my own blog for so long. The image above really sums up my negligence! I have not even finished my initial Japan trip, and now I have just recently been back from my 3rd trip almost 3 months ago.

Just some updates. Have gotten my iPad for almost a week now. Am currently updating thus blog on my iPad using this app called Blogsy. it’s pretty intuitive so far. Real late now, will update again on whether it’s worth the $2.99 for it’s introductory phase or not.

But I must say that being able to write in the silence of the night in bed is pretty awesome!

May 13, 2011

A very important thing to know about Blogsy is that there are two sides – Rich Side and Write Side.

You are on the Rich Side now. To get to the Write side just swipe left or right.

In this table you can see some of the things you can do on each side.

Here’s a quick overview pointing out where to go to do all the things you want to do.

  • Manage published posts, drafts, and pending-review drafts in the ‘Post Info.’ menu under ‘Published’

  • Set up multiple accounts in the ‘Settings’ menu

  2. Place your finger on the image and drag it to your post (you can use a second finger to scroll to help you place it where you want)

Sapphire 5770 Vapor-X

July 8, 2010

Just received my new Sapphire HD 5770 Vapor-X today for a good discount of $49 :) It’s really a pretty looking card, and it’s quieter than my venerable Xpertvision 9600GT Sonic, which sadly, does have a sonic sounding fan!

Here’s a pic from my lousy iPhone camera!

Vapor-X

Vapor-X, Nice and cool looking

9600GT Sonic

Yay! Now to replace the old cranking front and side fan sometime..

Vesak day

May 28, 2010

went to Baden last night, had their happy hour which was till 9pm –> 1-for-1 beers. Which means that a pint of Erdinger white beer costs $7.50. That’s like cheap, considering that I just spotted a bottle costing $7 at NTUC :)

January 1, 2010

Happy 2010, started my year with a bang painting the living room, it’s so damn tiring. The ceiling is really killer, aching all over and it took the whole day. Another day of painting tmr with the mini hall and corridor. Time to sleep. Heck, even outfield doesn’t feel so tiring..

Dragon Age: Origins

November 18, 2009

Been playing Dragon Age: Origins lately, must say that it’s really an amazing game. The scale and scope is really deep, and the amount of lore is like enough to serve as reading material for an entire day. I’ve not even managed to find the time to read through the various entries.

The amount of voice acting (every single dialogue) is voiced like many bioware games, and the replay value seems to be there with the steep learning curve. I’m now kicking myself in the head now for many choices in skills as I didn’t plan out ahead.

The character interactions are really amusing so far, can’t wait to try other combinations on a seperate playthrough! Its amazing that the choices and origin of the character actually gets referenced in game, and the events such as the Mage Tower among others have choices that related to my char’s mage origin.

Will need to try out the other origins and see how the game plays out. Though that would take a long long time at the rate I’m going. Listening to voice acting and slowly getting through every corner of the game.

Looks like my stupid work computer has finished restarting itself! Back to work…
